God's Perfect Will

Everybody knows the story of Jonah and the Whale (Jonah 1,2& 3). Jonah had tried many times to avert God’s plans. He did not want to bring God’s message to the Ninevites. Like Jonah, many of us struggle to embrace God’s will for our lives.

Yet no matter how Jonah ran, he could not hide. Are you running away from God’s plan? He will do what it takes to bring you back. Sometimes we run away from God’s plan unintentionally. We move in a certain direction or we make decisions that is not in accordance with His plans. But problems occur when our stubborn will refuses to fulfill the plan of God. We set ourselves up to miss the blessing He intends.

What is God calling you to do that has you running in the opposite direction? Don’t try to run from God. Instead, run to Him. Seek Him so that He may reveal His perfect will to you. If you need a second chance, pray and ask God for one. If God rescued Jonah from the belly of a fish, then God can get you out of whatever you’re facing right now.
